The canister covers two cases. Topping up: dielectric evaporates and is carried out with the filter cake, so the level in the tank drops even when you are not changing the fluid. Trialling: you want to see EDM601 on your own machine before a drum sits in the store.
For a trial it helps that EDM601 mixes with certain other dielectrics, among them Blaser SOREPI LM and Blasospark GT250 — the tank does not have to be run dry first.
EASYCUT EDM601 — the same fluid as in the drum, in a smaller container. A universal dielectric for sinker EDM machines and for wire EDM machines running oil technology, from roughing to fine finishing, on steels, carbides and non-ferrous metals. The canister carries the highest price per litre of the three containers. That is fine while you are topping up or testing — once you need volume regularly, it pays to move up:
