Not every shop needs a drum. A single machine with a tank of a couple of hundred litres, refilled a few times a year, is exactly the case the 19-litre canister is for: it makes roughly 240 litres of working emulsion at 8 %, which is a tank fill plus the top-ups that follow it.
The second case is topping up alongside a drum. Water evaporates and leaves with chips and finished parts while the concentrate stays behind, so the level falls and the concentration climbs at the same time — a canister on the shelf corrects that without opening a second drum.
BASE201 is the one product in the range with a refractometer factor of 1.6; the others use 1.3. Five °Brix is 8.0 % here, not 6.5 %. If your shop runs more than one EASYCUT coolant, write the factor on the machine — reading BASE201 with 1.3 leaves you 23 % lean.

If stainless steel or aluminium are part of the programme, UNI301 is the step that covers them. If consumption grows, the 208 l drum costs around 17 % less per litre. Concentration is checked with the refractometer.
