The canister covers two cases. Topping up: water evaporates and is carried out with chips and finished parts, so the level in the tank falls even without a change — and because the concentrate stays behind, the concentration climbs on its own while it does. Trialling: you want to see UNI301 on your machine and on your water before a drum sits in the store.
From 19 litres of concentrate you get roughly 240 litres of working emulsion at 8 % — enough for one machine, or to hold the level over several weeks.
EASYCUT UNI301 — the same fluid as in the drum, in a smaller container. A semi-synthetic, boron-free coolant with around 30 % mineral oil for cast iron, steel, stainless steel and a large part of the aluminium alloys. Refractometer factor 1.3, corrosion protection to DIN 51360/2 at grade 0 already at 4 %, make-up water 5 to 30 °dH. The fluid is described in full on the 208 l drum page.
The canister carries the highest price per litre of the three containers. That is fine while you are topping up or testing — once you need volume regularly, it pays to move up:
If your focus is aluminium, PRO302 is the better-suited step — the same basis, additionally tuned for aluminium. Concentration is checked with the refractometer: Brix reading times 1.3. The data sheet and safety data sheet are on this page as downloads.
