An IBC of VEG001 is not a first purchase. It is the size for a works that has already run the trial, made the switch and now supplies several machines with an ester-based fluid as standard — usually because skin compatibility, workplace air or disposal were written into the decision.
The price per litre is the same as in the 208-litre drum; what the IBC buys is logistics: one delivery instead of nearly five drums, one fixed draw-off point, no empty drums to dispose of. The mixing unit runs from it using the IBC adapter with bracket; on a drum it mounts directly.
At 8 % this container makes roughly 12,800 litres of working emulsion, which at this price level represents a considerable amount of tied-up capital. Set it against your annual consumption — concentrate ages in the container, and here more than anywhere in the range, an IBC standing half-full after two years is an expensive mistake. Without pallet handling and floor space, the 208 l drum is the better buy at the same price per litre.
EASYCUT VEG001: a water-miscible coolant on a plant-derived ester base, biodegradable, boron-free, made in Germany — the range's answer where skin compatibility, disposal and sustainability drive the choice rather than cost per part. Concentration is set with the refractometer using the product-specific factor from the data sheet. Full description on the 208 l drum page; for topping up there is the 19 l canister.
With a central supply the weekly checks matter more, not less: nitrite and pH per German TRGS 611, covered in The functions of coolant.
